So today I installed the HID Projector headlights I have linked below, but I am still unable to get the brights to work. When I flip the light the headlight column on the steering wheel the and bright indicator comes on but there is no changes in the headlights. I was hoping someone on here with experience in installing these might have an idea of what it could be.

Vehicle:

2015 Frontier S, 4x4.

Did you connect the bi-xenon shield cables to your wiring harness? The way these work is the low beam and high beam use the same bulb. The only difference is, activating the high beam works by dropping the bi-xenon shield to let more light thru the projector, thus creating your "high beam." There should be some kind of small cable attached to the solenoid that activates this shield using the high beam wire of your factory wiring.

I see the product page lists a 9007 Wiring harness

This harness should plug into your factory wire, the other side of it should have 2 plugs, a 2-pin 9006 style that plugs into your ballasts, and a small 2 wire connector that plugs into the shield solenoid.

In the pic I attached, the thin circled plug goes into your ballast, the thick circled smaller connector is what activates your high-beam shield solenoid. Good luck.

Also please please please post output shots against a wall from about 25-30 feet back. Don't post pics of the lights on themselves, post the output shots of the light as you see it from the drivers seat. Thanks.

Thank you artsr2002 for the information on as to which connections control the shield solenoid and I have connected everything correctly (mainly because its plug and play with the harness). I am still unable to get the brights (shield movement) to activate on the headlights.

Great headlights!! I have em in my 16 Pro4, had an issue with the highs in the beginning as well. Tom(from HIDProjectors)talked me thru it, usually the wiring connection (it’s a blue connector), just had to swap the 2 wires. Should be an easy fix.

9balllrook Did you swap the two wires coming out of the headlight, the red and blue ones? The red and blue wires coming from the bulb have a mail and female connection that hook into the ballast, I dont know how i could swap them without changing the ends of the wires.

It’s the wires that go to the hi-beam connector (blue plastic housing). As I recall I just had to switch the 2 wires going in. I’ll take a look &see if I can get you a pic.

I spoke with HIDProjectors last week and they said they issue maybe that both headlights need to be plugged into the harness so they are going to send me an new harness or should I say new harnesses because they arrived today and now I have two separate harnesses. While the passenger side harness makes perfect sense to me, the driver side is another story. I don't know how to run the plugin that is suppose to go to the old headlight high/low beam (blue connection in driver side pic) and plug the harness into the battery on the passenger side of the vehicle.

A picture looking at the headlight does no one any good. WE NEED A PICTURE OF THE LIGHT PATTERN AGAINST A WALL, FROM A DISTANCE OF 25'! Please!

MT Mike, Once I have the adjustments dialed in I will provide that picture, but I will say I am very happy with how the low beams worked out.
Did you get the high-beams sorted out? Looking forward to your wall shots. Thanks.

LOL, I should make that my signature. Haha.
I don't know how many times we've repeated the "25-30 off a wall" test to everyone haha

It says on their website that it comes with black paint, what's that door? And I'm loving these lights once you get them squared away. I would definitely be interested in getting these
