I bought a set of Hi Lift Jack's Tube Mounts 1"-2" size. They didn't fit the roof rails tubes, plus given the weight of the jack, I didn't want to be be top heavy. I decided to utilize the mounts to mount jack in bed of truck, cab side. I did so using 6m slide bolts, 6m screws, large washers & lock washers. The large washers protect the bed slide brackets.

Any long term reports? Wondering if anything is bent. Track, bolt? Do you offroad it hard?

I made my own track-mount for my HI-Lift jack that has been hanging on my track for over a decade and the track has not bent at all. I have used the Hi Lift as a tie-down spot for my straps in the past as well. Using UHMW and hardware from Home Depot, I think my mounst cost me $15

Joe retired from the BCFD & moved to Texas and hasn't been on, that I've seen, so you probably won't get an answer.

I forgot how yours where set up. Do they stick straight out like the one in this post or do they hang down. I was thinking of building a set that hang down off the track. Seems that would have less bending forces. But if I can just buy something and bolt on that could make life easier. This type of mount is popular and easy to obtain.
