Have just purchased my first brand new Nissan. A Navara 4WD V6 petrol Double Cab. V6 versions not that popular here due to the perceived high price of our petrol. Supposedly the only 4x4 V6 around this neck of the woods, I reckon that it's a small price to pay for such an awesome motor.
Just a few extras at this stage, stainless steel nudge bar, fold up tonneau, deck liner, 3T towbar. Have been reading the ambient temp sensor thread, so will be adding that soon.

Welcome to Club Frontier. Congrats on your new truck.
I see you're from the same place Burt Munro came from, Invercargill.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, there is a movie called The Worlds Fastest Indian. A biography of Burt Munro, and his land speed motorcycle record still stands today, many years later.

Thanks for the link. After watching the movie I thought he was very accomplished. Now after reading from the web site I see he was a brilliant and talented machinist as well.
Now I'm going to have to buy something in the way of his memorabilia. It's cool you have access so close to home.
I've watched the movie numerous times.

I think Anthony Hopkins did a great job. If it's an accurate portrayal, it appears he was liked by everyone who he met up with. Do you think the transvestite was real or an invention of Hollywood embellishing? LOL
I'm still amazed that I'm writing this across to someone the globe and you're from his hometown! This is a great forum.

He was from South Island.
I fished Whakante out of theNorth Island.
The White Island eruption that killed those people?
Anchored there a few times.
