Long time lurker, thought it was time to make a profile. Bought a brand new 2015 Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab 2WD V6 4.0L. Coming from a '91 Ranger, the new Frontier has a lot more power!! Tall guy here (6'5") and for a mid size truck it feels the best which was the deciding factor. No upgrades and stock tires (living in Los Angeles I don't need much for the moment till I move). Still trying to get used to the lower mpg, not sure why I'm hitting 10-12 mpg on an empty highway at night recently but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Overall great truck, my dad likes to drive it when we hang out, loves it so much he's either getting a Frontier himself or an Xterra. I couldn't be happier with the choice.

Congrats on the new truck and welcome to CF. You could talk your dad into an Xterra.....that way you compliment one another. When he needs the truck you can always swap.

Hi Boomer. Yeah, that's the thought we had since my dad and I travel a lot together, adds versatility when needed. Who knows, I might surpise him for his retirement gift in 2 years.
