Do LSD's still have a "main drive" wheel? As in, one wheel does most of the driving unless it's interrupted for some reason...?

Would the fluid weight have play in this?

I'm asking because I know I have an HG46 axle on my '04 Desert Runner. I haven't yet jacked up the back of my truck and spun a tire to see if I have an LSD or not. I have looked for the possible stamp that I've heard of that could indicate an LSD. I didn't find one.

I was having a little fun in some mud today, and I noticed that there is pretty good splatter happening on both sides of the truck (from the rear wheels). It is, however, un-even. There's a little more splatter on the passenger side. Would that indicate LSD? LSD with a "main drive" wheel? No LSD?

There is no main drive wheel.
watch this, this is how a normal differential works.
A limited slip is the same except there are some spring loaded clutches inside. The bind up the left and right sides a bit (preload) to give some driving force to the tire with traction when you have the other tire with limited traction.
