Hi there having a little trouble with my ac and its getting hot down hear in Florida. The problem is when I set my ac to anything but one on the knob, it does not cool and the compressor turns off. I have checked all the fuses and tried different settings on the directional knob with no luck. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I had the same problem and then it went away on its own. I had the same problem with the air recirculate switch also. I think it is electrical either in the dashboard control or a relay. If you find a solution please post.

Are you sure the system is fully charged? Typically anymore, when a system is low, a "safety" kicks in to prevent damage to the compressor.
