Hey guys, I have been itching to get a prerunner bumper for my truck for awhile now... and since penski is just too far away I will have to pay someone else to build me one. I like this first one the best, but I asked if they could cut holes in the skid plate so i could remount my factory fog lights, they said no problem! They even powdercoat!

I have always like this one, dont know if you guys have seen it but they do great work. Its fuel Forged 795, they told me 400 then 150 for shipping.

I also contacted Chris at NFabworks, I am in his area and figured he could probably help me out. He says he is busy with his titan till late august then he could make whatever i want. What do you think his price would be?

Or i could always go calmini...but i would rather not.

looking at the fuel Forged bumper looks like the skid plate extends under to fully protect the rad. So you wouldn't need a rad skid. The price seems just to me.

yeah, I agree on the $400 but the 150ups cost is what gets me. I figure I will wait and go to Chris and hopefully he can mirror what fuelforged made.

Not trying to promot Calmini but for a little more$$ you can git a great pre front. I have it love it. it raps the fenders on the sides and has the holes you want on the skid. Take a look at purenissan.com Mine is much phater than your example but yours looks like it may protect your lights better... I dont know much. for an example i have been driving around leaking oil all over nature... to cheap for the rear main seal replacement, or to lazy?????

the issue with the calmini is that on the gen 2s you lose you front tow hook and if you play off road you need front and rear recovery points.

Great point! It seems like you retain the hook with fuelforged's product. You think nfabworks could duplicate that?

looks like they only have one upper mount on this and the other mounts use the sway bar brackets

that wont hold up in a front end accident , plus i never understood why they dont do a wrap around of the fenders with the main bar

I see what you are saying penski, I messeged the guy and he said that they had "crash tested" it... His story went along the lines of the red SE plowed into the back of an acura and really messed the acura up but the bumper only sustained a small bend....

That is an awesome truck^ who's is it? I like that design a lot!

Well i heard back from Chris, he says he can do it for 300bucks! But he said he cant do the aluminium skid plate... I'm not sure why.. but he said he would add tabs so i could mount one later. Here are some pictures he sent of his work. What do you think?

Honestly, for $300 I think you could probably get something better than those. Those don't look like much of a bumper to me. But it's your truck and if you like the way they look then that's all that matters really.

Well he said for 300 he could reproduce fuel forged's design. He said those pictures were him "just messing around at home". I agree those ones don't look like much but he said he could mirror it

if he is going to weld on tabs for the skid plate then dont forget to have him do tabs for light mounts. $300 sounds fair with no shiping $$$?? Mine was $500 after shipping, But that was also powder coated

Hey Hunter,
I got your message on cardomain. What kind of info are you looking for? Unlike alot of others i see mine was made to integrate the factory guard. A local Colorado shop did it for $400.

Thanks! I like your bumper, but why no lights? I am just trying to get together some different designs and using paint ill try to draw my own. I trust chris can do it, his stuff seems pretty good.

I was just wondering how you got it made and what it costs really. What size tubing is that, do you know?

thank you!
