I am planning to lift my truck tomorrow, but due to a snafu in my order I don't have anything for the rear. The good news is that I have access to a machine shop. My plan is to machine a set of 1" blocks to get me by until my correct parts come in. My question is does anyone have the length and width of the rear blocks?

I'll double check the measurements on my own, just looking to make sure I have the stock to use for now.

Thanks!

They're identical to the flat part the leafs sit on, so just measure that. How big is the front lift? I would just leave the back for now, unless your truck already had a reverse rake (front higher than back). You'll also need longer ubolts.

I am doing Bilsteins on the front. So >2" for sure. The truck has brand new factory rear springs so it sits pretty high in the back.

I was under the impression that I could re use the factory U bolts if I kept the blocks under 1"?

Thanks for your help!

Also, keep in mind I think you'll need to drill a hole in the block for the head of the leaf pin to sit in and have a stud to go into the axle on the other side. Normally, it sits in hole on the axle. As for the u-bolts, you shouldn't re-use them. Once they're torqued, they shouldn't be used again.
