Help! 2000 Nissan 2.4L Timing Chain Cover removal!

I posted in the 4Bangers but I didn't ge a response.

I need help with removing the cover.

Strange how the Nissan Manual says to pull it off like it's easy
but Chilton's and Hayes says you have to remove the head?

I got it moving a little from bottom end but it
won't budge at the top.

I don't want to break it.

Thank you for your time!

In the 1980s my neighbor had a Datsun truck, and the repair manual; manual said "remove the rear drum", that's all. It did NOT state to thread in two 8 x 1.25mm bolts to lever off the drum, I was able to figure that out for him.

You don't have to pull the head off, but Nissan is famous for "hiding bolts" at the top of the cover on the KA engines, so double-check and make sure you got all of them!

You ever figure it out? I have a 98 2.4 frontier and I'm trying remove the lower timing chain cover. I got the top loose but the bottom is tight. IDK if its jus the glue holding it or I missed a screw.
