I do not have a Frontier however I am looking hard at them. I joined so I could ask about real world MPG owners are experiencing. Will do a search before I starting a new thread.

I test drove a 15 cc sv 4x4 for a couple of days. Drove my actual route to and from work. No city and no 4-lane highway. Just rural two lane roads. 150 miles. I got 21.6 mpg.

I am not seeing that on fuelly or anywhere else. Makes me wonder what the story is. If no one else is getting this kind of mpg, then there must be something going on that won't last. On the other hand, if other have similar mpg, then I'm in.

Filled up both times at the same pump and I can do math.

Have read a little about gear ratios but this pickup shouldn't be anything different than most, I think.

Best I ever got was 25 MPG from one tank. The average I had over the lifetime that I owned the truck is in my signature 18.4 MPG and I had a fair amount of city miles.

Thanks! So the commute was a total of 150 miles over two days. Not 150 each way. Still enough miles I think to get an mpg check.
