hey guys thanks.

Im driiving a 10 SE CC LB silver. I briefly considered a tacoma but my biggest account sells Nissan so it was an obvious choice. I gotta say im thoroughly impressed with the ride quality and the quiet interior. The utilitrak is neat but its been too cold since i bought it last thrs. to really get back there and tinker with it. After seeing some sweet rides on here, and better knowledge of the nismo/PRO 4X version, i wonder if i goofed up and bought the wrong truck. Gotta find out how hard it is to get a locker in the rear.

My immediate plans for it are a fiberglass cap for my dent tools, and a minimum 2" lift. Im deciding now which is the best way to go, body or frame. It looks like the kit all day fab sells is the sure shot but its 1 1/2 in the rear I guess thats to level the truck out? since mine is so long the rake isnt as obvious.

Ive read here and there about not going over 2 1/2 inches on the front, is that because 3" gets into issues with the strut tower hitting the control arm? this is an area i need to learn before i buy either BL or frame kit.

I must say this forum is pretty sweet, ive participated in similar forums over the years with my A6 and Dmax so Ill be looking forward to getting to know my way around here.

Ill post up some pics as soon as i find where to load them.

TRD is like PRO 4X or Nismo. I don't think you bought the wrong truck. I'm assuming you need the 6ft bed? I'd love that rear locker...M226 is the axle that comes in those trucks. I have a C200 and think you do as well in the rear.

I'd go with suspension lift. Spacers up front and blocks in the rear is a great budget start. Email all day fab guy, he'll email you back about what you will need to do, photo's, and more.

That and your brakelines will be too short at 3'', you'd have to buy longer cables.

This is it: Kenwood KDC-MP438U CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Pretty basic but does everything I need and has 6 channel output for sub woofer control.
