Hello Everybody,
I just recently came across this forum while searching things in regards to my nissan frontier and figured it would be beneficial to join this community. I have very little knowledge concerning cars and trucks but I am the type of person who prefers to do work myseld if I think I can learn it, understand it, and get it done. For my day job I work as a bicycle mechanic so I like to think of myself as mechanically inclined.
As for my truck I own a 2000 Nissasn Frontier 4x4 which I purchased just over one year ago. I purchased this truck with very little knowledge of the Frontier model or the Nissan company. However, I was in the market for a 4x4 compact sized pickup. After finding my Nissan locally online and taking it for a test drive I could not pass it up. THe truck was everything I was looking for and had an amazing ride feel. Much better than the Rangers and S10s I thought I wanted.
My Frontier is in beautiful shape and was previously very well cared for. It had about 80K miles when I purchased it with limited rust and a like new interior. I paid well for the truck but so far I have had no problems and absolutely no complaints. For 2018 I plan to add a bed cap, replace the exhaust (something that sounds good and has no rattle like my current exhaust), and keep the truck pristine.
