I really cannot believe that I found another S model owner! :surprise: I am really surprised right now. Why did you @kcmhflyer decide to buy an S Model? My reason was because I wanted a dirt basic truck without any bells or whistles, as can be seen by my profile picture. (that is the actual photo of my fronty's door lol hahaha #rollupwindows

Well found it for a coworker and he laughed when I said oh it has no power windows or locks. I screwed up and bought a Mitsz Outlander Sport 7 months earlier, after trading out of a Ford Escape (which I loved, but it had tranny issues and was rusting on the back tail gate at 40000 miles. Ford wouldn't fix it, and i was thrown out of the ford dealer because I went over to a customer working the final details out with the manager and told them what was going on with my escape. They also left, well more willingly than me.

So fast forward to the weekend after I found my "S" online, I went to the dealer they couldn't put me in a SV model due to wayyyy to much negative equity So I bought a "S" model. I'm very happy I've had it for 2 years and have 33600 miles on it.

I just added power windows and locks on the front doors last week. It has 2013 Frontier SV rims on it since I could not stand the steel stock wheels. I'll take a photo tomorrow and get it up here.

Factory power windows/locks or add on?

Add on by a company called auto options here in Columbus Ohio.

2 Front windows and door locks.

Same with me! I was laughed at by my friends when I told them that it is too old school lololo

This exactly happened to me!!!:surprise: It almost seems like it happens to every S owner ahahhahahahaha :) I found the perfect S online and went to the dealer only to be involved in the infamous "bait and switch" trick. Walked right out of the dealer disappointed. Couple days later, found the perfect S at another dealer and bought it on the spot.

I'm very happy I've had it for 2 years and have 33600 miles on it.
I could not be any happier. I have owned it for almost 2 weeks now and I am very impressed with the truck as a first time truck owner. I am really happy because to me this was a good buy and everything in the truck will be utilized. I am not paying for bells and whistles that I will not use every time I am in the truck. I know that this truck will last for a long time because of this.

I recently installed power locks on the truck because we live in the 21st century and people have a tendency to steal trucks for some odd reason.... :frown:

We are all "S" truck guys in this thread. Good to see. What are your aftermarket windows like?
We should make an S Group on this forum. What do you think @Zedbra?

Haha, this thread is great. I test drove an S, thinking I could save some cash and be proud of my regression from all the bells and whistles we're brainwashed into needing in our life. I ended up with an SV...and cancelled my cell phone. Leave a message and I'll call you back. Killing the 35yr old who grew up without cell phones and internet-life crisis.

Automatic is the way to go bro!

do you all have a 6spd or auto? And I did want a nicer one, but I have other car interests that are president to me, so I decided to keep cash flow for the other cars.
Mine is auto just because I hate manuals. Moving the gear shift all the time is a pain in the buttocks for me!!! :(

No offense intended to anybody. ::grin::
