Hello all! I have been following this forum for a few years now but was dragging my feet on joining. My name is Jake and I live in Western Massachusetts. I work full time as an EMT-I and also part time as a Firefighter/EMT-I. I bought my first Frontier in 2008. It is a King Cab SE with the value package and auto trans. My color of choice was the super black, but have found it to be a love/hate kind of thing. The only mods I have done to the truck are with the stereo, where I installed a Kenwood Excelon head unit with a Sirius satellite tuner under the passenger seat, Infinity 6 1/2 component speakers in the front, powered by a Rockford Fosgate 75x4 amp. The rears are Polk 6 1/4 "slims" powered by the headunit. I have a JL 10" W3 in a sealed box behind the passenger seat, powered by a Rockford Fosgate Punch 60xi (old school baby!). I wasn't looking to overpower the truck with sound, but I guess if you think about it, 7 speakers is a lot in an extended cab pickup! I have also installed a Yeasu Ham radio under the dash with a 5db gain whip antenna on the bed of the truck. I would like to do a few more things to it, but gotta make the payments first!
