So this happened yesterday:

It's a 2016 with a whopping 7200 miles on it, so I don't believe it'll be totaled (shouldn't be THAT bad...). This has me thinking about ordering a nice, lightweight bumper, leaving me with either a prereunner stlye or the Hefty aluminum. I dig the idea of aluminum bumpers and skids, so I'd like to hear how current owners feel about their aluminum Hefty.

Just keep in mind the wait time for the bumper from Hefty as they are built to order. Without looking on their website, I think it says 12-14 week lead time.

With that said, I am fairly happy with their aluminum skids on my truck.

Hefty's lead time is much shorter now, new shop, more people. He posted on the NORAC FB page during or right after GoneMoab that they have some in stock. If you go on the NORAC Nissan Off road association of Colorado Facebook page, there are several Fronty and Xterra people with the Aluminum bumper that are very happy.
