I have read that the Canadian Frontiers come standard with heated exterior mirrors. Anyone here know if the US Frontier is pre-wired to accept them?

Heated mirrors are also standard on the Pathfinder LE here in the US so getting them shouldn't be a problem. Getting them to work on a US Frontier may be more difficult and could require changing the subharness in the doors which could be expensive.

Our trucks harness does not have this wire, and is not prewired with it. Yes this mod is doable, you will need to run the wires from a 12 volt source to a switch then allthe way through the door and then connect it to the right wire for heating source in the mirror.

So could we use the heated mirrors that come on the LE. Would theyfit on the NISMO or the SE? If so then we could get a DIY.
