I recently purchased an 01 frontier KC DR with a 3.3l SC.
When I had my new exhaust put on I found out that the Exhaust Manifold was cracked.
Since then I have been looking for headers, but cant seem to find any that will fit this engine. Also the emissions in california hamper things a bit, but im not worried, I have 2 more years until i smog again.

For the most part the truck came the way it is except, I put on flowmaster 40 dumped before the rear axel, new 10" kicker sub, Garmin nav.
theres also a bunch of other stuff inside that ill show later.

are you sure its an '01? it has a '98-00 dash.
congrats on the truck, its sweet. i have seen it around town before and on dezertrangers.
here are some headers that just came out from doug thorley. they aren't legal because you need to ditch the primary cats to install them.

Gorgeous truck! Someone put in alot of work to put in the long travel kit and set up the bed monted tire rack.

The only headers I know of are the Doug Thorley headers.

thanks, I have been looking for a month for some, but they are just a little off.
Yeah its an 01 because the title said 01 when I got it.

but i noticed that the description on the headers says w/o supercharger, mine has a supercharger.

I think no one really knows what the subtle difference is supposed to be but there have been people that put those headers on the SC trucks.

almost all headers will say "offroad use only" or "not for sc". its not going to hurt performance.

i go all over. i'm a crawler, so probably none of the places you would go with the 2wd.

weird... what was the official year for the new dashes? mine is an '02 and i have the three gauge pods. i always thought it was an 01-04 thing. the first gen frontier didn't really get a facelift.

02 is the first year with the three gauge pod design. Also the dash piece around the gauge cluster is different. See the two silver parts on the sides? Mine is all one piece of same color plastic and different AC controls.

thats a hot ride man, If Colorado was more flat i'd prerun the $hit outta my rig. I lived in Pismo beach till i was 5. Don't remember much. lol

yeah, it came factory stock with an eaton sc, its not too big though, but its still sc.

and on the builds, guys put serious money into trucks like this, $10K plus at a shop and still work is not done. Its crazy.

Anyone know of anyone who has the Doug T Headers yet? Good to know they come with the EGR hook-up unlike the A/C headers. Damn expensive, but Doug does put out some good products so I bet with a nice flowing exhaust, you could pick some decent power. I don't even see them listed on Dougs on web-site.
