Headers for the KA24 with auto?

if you can get the header cheap enough, i would suggest you try it.

Hmm, that looks like a 4-1 header, good for high end output. Your link led me to look at Summit again and I found this.

A 4-2-1 header should be better at low and mid range power. It's ceramic coated too. It's almost as expensive as what I've seen the DC Sports header listed for the 240SX though.

At the Acura Integra forum I used to post at there were quite a few claims that the Pace Setter headers performed worse than the stock manifold as well as being poorly made.

I'm going to contact DC Sports and see what they have to say.

just saw this on pacesetters website. it says its only for manual transmission. They are the same product codes as the ones on summit.

try nopi.com they have a wide variety of parts for our 2.4L's....

I apologize... nopi doesnt carry a header for it. thought they did. still worth checking out though.

get a cheap-o ebay one..

im eventually going to try the obx long tube one. looks like a better piece than the paceshitter.

thats another option.. but you want the long tube one. you're after the scavenging effect.

will all those work with our frontiers? not just the 240sx?

it looks like it would work. however no one has tried it.

if i can get enough money to spend on one, i would do it just to check clearance/fitment.

the pipe extension down thing to the stock exhaust might be different

Cool link even tho no headers. I saw a nice looking billet grille on the Frontier Ducted Hood Complete Kit at 4X4parts. Nopi has it so thanks (I like the ducted hood scoop too).

I think I would be more reluctant to purchase OBX headers than I would Pacesetters. A search of more recent reviews shows they may have improved quality but I hate sending my hard earned money to China.

Still no word from DCSports.

so, still no one tried the 240SX headers?

I was on another board awhile back for Hardbodies (basically the same motor) and quite a few people were using the Pacesetter headers for both manuals and autos. I heard some decent reviews on them but as said, the China thing kind of ruins it. I never bought any because of it and the fact that they look a little cheap.

its ok. when i modify exhaust on any vehicle i usually customize the whole thing from header back anyway.
