Was wondering if anyone has ever put a snowmachine in the bed of their Frontier? I have a 2005 CC SE...so the bed is I believe like 6 feet long with the tailgate down. If I put my snowmobile in the back it will hang off by about 3 feet.

yeah the frontiers dont fit all to well. i can fit my R6 in my bed with the tail down and the bike crooked, an the tonneau cover off of course, but there isnt a whole lot of room in them. id say good luck with a snowmobile you better be getting a trailer lol.

well i've got a heck of a lot more room than my S-10 did... it was a stepside with a hard tonneau...
as long as you can secure your snowmobile, have the center of gravity of the machine a good amount inside the bed, and have something red hanging off the back, there should be nothing wrong with hauling one around.
I cant wait till i have a quad to park in the back... unfortunately that will be a long time.
personally, if i had a snowmobile i'd trailer it around, these things have a nice tow rating on them :p

Well I'm gonna try to throw the snowmachine in the back this weekend to see how well it fits. I know the bed is wide enough, but I guess my main concern was if the tailgate would hold under the pressure. A majority of the weight will be in the bed so I'm sure it will be good to go. I do have a trailer but would like to throw it in the back. Total weight of the machine is 500 lbs, hopefully it won't sag the back end to much.

I have been tempted to do it for the heck of it, but I have a 151" tracked sled (summit) and I'll probably have more out than in the bed. Besides I'm worried about the carbides wrecking my bedliner. SOrry no pics of it in the truck

hi...I have a 03 RMK that fit the truck bed fine...as a matter of fact I measured the bed specifically so it will fit my sled width and length with the gate down....only thing is you had better put down a sheet of plywood or something cause if U have a spray on liner those carbides dig in like knives with brakes!

Is that a 4 foot bed? It looks like it fit pretty well.
That is the standard king Cab truck but I don't know the size of the bed as we don't get them here in New Zealand. That one is from Arctic Trucks - I think in Norway or Iceland or somewhere like that.

I got the pic from a link on this site, check this out:
