So I'm really disappointed in the way the Fibeerwerx finders came out. The one piece looks awesome, but the finders are basically all the things I didn't like about the Hannemann, plus it got some lift to it that makes it look even more out of place then the Hannemann. I think a lot of people are jumping on a band wagon because it it new.
I like the Hannemann's over all but i prefer how the fiberworx looks by the door.
i wish they would have brought it more flat at the door.. the little shelf fills up with all sorts of crap..
Man im really feeling you on this one man. The fiberwerx clip is fricken rad, but would be just too much on my truck. Im not sure if I really like the side view that keeps that factory circular line if you know what I mean on the new fiberwerx. I do like the fiberwerx fenders a little better from the front view cause they flare up a little more, but again im just not sure about the side view. I dont want to harp too much because I am glad these fiberwerx fenders are out and think they are great that we have more options but for the regular front fenders i dont see much improvement in looks in my taste. Maybe an improvement in quality though. But Im thinking about just sticking and going with hannemans.
^ I also appreciate that Fiberwerx took the time to give us another option for fenders....However, i don't really like the look of either the fiberwerx or hannemann fenders. That shovel-faced/hammerhead look from the front of the truck doesn't appeal to me (especially without bumpers to match the added width). I agree with you mustard - the fiberwerx fenders carried over a lot of the same design/style characteristics that I disliked on the hannemanns...

I was expecting the fiberwerx fenders to be smaller, but they turned out to be a little more overkill than I was hoping for. I wish we had something like the smaller buldge of some of the 1st Gen frontier fiberglass fenders...or the smaller bulge on a lot of the fiberglass fenders made for Tacomas.
yeah I think a little bulge on the stop of the fender would have been nice.. The hanneman are the perfect bulge for a titan swap with a CST spindal and good 0 offset rim. the Fiberwerx are good for the 4wd guys with titan swaps.

quality wise Hannemann got a better rep then Fiberwerx.
I picked none of them, but if I had to pick one I would go with the Fiberwerx.
I hate to say it but those fiberworks make the front of that truck look like a shovel. The front corners are way too sharp.

yeah I always called min the bat wings because they looked like something off the original bat mobile. but those make it worse.
maybe the fiberwerx fenders would look better with a matching fiberglass bumper? Not an option for everyone, but it might be an option for me.
i think a huge part of it has to do with the tires and not painted... i threw some 33"s on their since they dont make gears for my axle, so i didnt want to put my 35"s and it made a huge difference of it not looking so retarded + the fenders are painted now... still looks a little funny but not as bad.. when the weather clears up ill take some pics and send them to you MUSTARD23.

PM me your email.
The Fiberwerx Titan clip is badass as all hell. However, the standard glass fenders for each don't really appeal to me. I thank Fiberwerx for putting in the work to make them, but something is just not right with either theirs or Hanneman's. I can't quite put my finger on it.

While it's hard for me to believe, it might just be that the design of the truck itself is prohibiting good looking glass from being made. Most trucks don't have the headlights wrap around the side like ours do. That right there makes it hard to tie the fender into the front cleanly. Stock, it makes the truck looks sick because the fender has a smooth line transitioning into the front. But when you add the width of the glass fenders it makes for an odd line.

I kind of think if they brought the fender back in tight to the stock bumper width it would add that rise/bulge that looks awesome on the Titan clip, allow for enough clearance for the larger wheels/tires suspension travel needed and clean up the transition from the fender to the headlight.

I like all of them. Like said before they all need a fiberglass front bumper. Another problem is once people decide to get glass their truck has a setup that is not exactly what is needed to make the glass look good. Most of us get big lifts then get glass. I wish I would have built my suspension around the glass. Lower your truck or get bigger/wider tires. I have shed 5” off of my lift and it still looks to high for the glass. Its not the glass. It’s what it is being put on. Just my .02
:laugh::laugh: there ya go, just get a fiberglass bumper:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Then I could spend all day picking up all the broken glass, instead of whoopen on my truck.

no thanks
the titan conversion clip looks good because Jay sketched it out before he took in his truck..
x2 mustard. jay came out with a great design.
neither are good for me being thousands of miles from desert running but i do like the "batwing" look of the fiberworx! i think the just look better all around, but as far as functionality...i have no freakin clue for either!!!
