grrr...98 Frontier help needed

replaced sending unit and tank due to rust and vapor leaks...sweet deal at courtesy parts, anywho I forgot about the fuel temp sensor and just rcvd it today...how or where does it attach to the sending unit? looks like a female end according to the pic. gracias!

also code reader read it was the fuel temp sensor and im getting lousy gas mileage...might as well be driving a v-8 vs my 4 cyl...
