I am going to install a new Clarion cx609 this weekend. How do I do the ground? Specifically, what do I connect the ground wire to? I have searched, but haven't been able to find anything specific as to what the ground wires shoudl be connected to.....

ground for what, the deck itself or is it a video deck and you want to bypass the parking break?

Ground for the deck itself - no video.

you can use a ring terminal like this:

House Brand ACC1910 - Ring Terminals - Sonic Electronix

connect the black ground wire to the ring terminal and find any of the screws behind the dash to secure it to a bare metal surface.

OK. So as long as I connect the ground wires to any bare metal surface behind the dash, I should be ok?

Yes sir. Last I remember there were like 8 screws back there that you could use.

If you give me a second I can go take a picture of where I grounded mine.

edit: I forgot to mention that it's sandwhiched between the plastic and metal
