How often should i do this? Fixing to to rotate my tires (3K miles) and wasn't sure if i needed to do this aswell, is it just a couple pumps from a grease gun on each one? thanks for the help again guys and gals

I do it 3-4 times a year

Silverado in my family gets twice a year

I used to do this after every wheeling trip to push out dirt/grime that gets in there from deep water and/or mud. If you live in an area with snow and lots of salt/sand on the road...I'd do it once a month. It doesn't take a mintue to do and it can only help.

For the upper control arm bushings, i pump until i see some grease coming out from the sides, usually 5-6 pumps.

For the Ball Joints, im contantly checking the rubber housing that holds the grease to make sure its full but dont over fill it because it will tear. Just enough that you feel it firm then stop.
