I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the helpfulness of this forum.

Me and the future wifie are going to be selling her Mazda soon to get an Lexus IS300. I joined a IS 300 forum to see what mods people are doing and such. The people on the forum were total A#$holes to other members asking questions. It was crazy how useless the information was on the site. It was a total joke the attitude people had towards newer people on the site.

Club Frontier is prett awesome!:fantastic:

This place is definitely the friendliest forum that I frequent these days.
There are some places I quit going because they seem to be infested with 13 year old, zit faced, pubeless little punks hiding behind their keyboards.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the anonymity of the internet lets people do and say things they would never think of doing/saying in person. <---That sucks.

Some people are against the amount of so-called "censorship" we have here on CF.
To be honest I was a little surprised when I first joined.
The "censorship" though is what helps keep this site not only family friendly but also mostly tame and under control.
Is it really that hard to be civil to one another these days I have to ask myself?

There are a ton of friendly and knowledgeable people on this site which really makes this site shine.
I think the Mods on here do a pretty darn good job too if I do say so myself. ;)

i've been on many forums through the years and the only 3 forums i'm still on is my350z, nico and clubfrontier because of everything that has already been said. i like to think that the nissan community overall is just a good community and on all 3 of these forums good info flows like water and bs is kept to a min.

Most forums I go look on are about as useful as a condom with a hole in it. This one is by far the best one I use.

Todd you are 100% accurate!!! When I race moto, the people are the nicest ever, would help you do anything, give you parts, loan you tools, hell, Ive borrowed some total strangers bike before at a race when mine died. But if you go on the moto forums......holly smokes! It is cut throte!!!any thing you say, will be turned around, taken out of context, and make you look like a fool.

At first I thought it was lame that we couldnt sware on here. but now I'm greatful. It keeps ya from (me anyway) inpulsing and blow'en up on people. With out swareing.... ya realy gotta think on how to word it.... by then, not mad anymore! :)

When I had my M3 I was part of a BMW forum. Some guys were okay, but a lot were cocky a-holes. If you didnt have an estroil blue, alpine white, or cosmos black M3 you were not part of the team. I had a Boston Green manual sedan and was basically the black sheep.

It was the same damn car!!!

This is a great forum. Possibly because of the large age
range and male and female members we tend to be more respectful and watch the tone.
I believe the members here range in age from 17 to 60's

Occasionally something may get said, that may get a rise out of a few here but it gets put to bed quickly. It doesn't happen often though...

This is hands down the best Nissan forum I have ever been a member of. I started out at Maxima.org when I bought my 3rd Max. There was/is a lot of immaturity going on there so I stayed away for a long time and camped out here. I have learned a lot of good things here. Way more than I ever did at Maxima.org. I freaking love it here!!!!!!

Im a member of several forums, from here to arfcom down to forums that only have a half dozen active members.
There are good forums out there, its just a matter of finding them.

Good call on the Is300, my friend has one with basic bolt ons and a few extra goodies and it's a very fun and a pretty quick car, they are also beautiful in my opinion :)
A really good forum for an is300 is my.is, they are a$$holes if you don't search and ask noob questions but some of they REALLY know there stuff.

I also agree this has to be one of the most friendly and nicest forum I know of, with tons of great help and people.

I agree that most people on the site are very friendly and helpful in regards to a truck that has very little support outside of this forum. Unfortunately (as with any forum) there are one or two sour grapes that can leave a bad taste in your mouth. As much as we all love our trucks, people need to understand that some ocassional negative criticism is not a bad thing for everyone involved. If I have one gripe, it's that there are a couple of people who have ZERO tolerance for any criticism of the Frontier (Jordo can back me up here) and tend to get a little too combative about it. I almost ditched this forum in the beginning because of this behavior. Glad I stuck it out though, because the rest of you have been great!

Blinded by love maybe?

I know what you mean there, but come on every vehicle on the road is worthy of some criticism in one way or another, that's a fact.

I love my truck, but there are things I would definitely change about it.

Yeah that forum looks nicer than the one I joined. I joined my.is and there is some ok info but most of the site is people acting like 2 year olds. They even have a sticky talking bout how bad the site has become.

"what year IS300 and how many miles on it?"

Were looking at a few 04's... most of them are around 60-70k miles. I figure with there reliability we could easily own it for 100k more. Eventually I'll strap a turbo on it too.
