Well my BFG's needed replacing so I decided to try a new brand. I went with the Procomp Extreme AT's at 31x10.5x15. So far so good. Same saize as the BFG's but had to do some trimming because these rubbed a bit.....weird
a bit noiser but i think it's due to the new offset from the wheel. The tire is exposed past the fender so I think that is why I here it more.......If I wanted quiet I would have bought a hybrid...lol
good reviews but I haven't had them off road yet. I will work on that this weekend. They're a directional tire so you can only rotate front to back but I'm pretty good about rotating.
Why did you end up having to do some trimming? Was it due to the width of the tire or the height? I'm looking at 31x12.5x15 but I would prefer not to trim anything.
Well at first I tripped out because they're the same size as my BFG's and those didn' rub. I have a 15x8 inch rim now instead of the stock 15x7. I'm also running a 4" backspacing instead of the stock 5.25. So the wheels are sticking out further. At full lock they would rub my mud flaps....that is before I took the dremmel to the flaps. Now no problem
