I finally got some UCAs the other day and installed them yesterday. I've been running the extended Radflos for over a 1.5 years without aftermarket UCAs. I really never heard any bad contact noises from the coil bucket. I got a pair of the TC UCAs from a member on here. I will say that I was impressed with the construction of these things. Way beefier and heavier than I had expected! THe install was a cinch other than the one bolt on the driverside. I was able to use a dremel with a cutting wheel in there since I don't have a sawzall. I think my strange sqeak noise I have been hearing forever in the suspension was due to the rubber in the stock UCAs rubbing whenever the suspension moved. When I was able to separate the ball joint from the spindle the UCA flung up and stayed in an upper position. Not sure if this is typical but they seemed to be in there a bit tight, whereas the TC UCAs were able to move up and down real easily. I also found one mounting bolt on the stock UCA on the passenger side really corroded for some reason. ANyhow, they seem sweet and will have to do some more driving on and offroad to get more feedback on them. THey do seem to work better with the Radflos too, because the front suspension for some reason seems softer now.:)

Ok, you may have to detach the ball joint from the spindle, and rotate the ball around in the socket applying grease. Spray silicon lubricant won't do as it will simply drip/evaporate away, it has to be a thick paste like grease. I had trouble finding exactly what I needed at auto-zone, so, like I said, I just use paint-ball gun grease. Good luck, and looks good.

Thanks for the advice, I will keep it in mind. The squeak I've been dealing with is something to do with the stock stuff on my truck. No idea what it is, but it squeaks when the truck flexes, like when you come out of a parkinglot sideways so not both of the right and left side suspensios are doing the same thing. It will make the noise on the right or the left depending on what I'm doing. Now that I've replaced the UCAs I am curious about the LCAs. I've had the swaybar off and it wasn't that. hmm, guess I'll keep working at it. Glad to finally have the TC's on though!

Are your radflo's leaking? Looks like there is a lot of oil on the body.

I'll have to check them out. They are a bit dirty. Probably could get rebuilt. Might even decide to go with Ohlins. Their headquarters is 20 mins from me, and they said they could easily build a set of front coilovers for me.

q-ball: I will have to check into my LCAs for the sqeek, as it still persists.
