Hey guys! I figured it was about time to start a thread for goneMOAB 2018, seeing as how registration opens up in a few short days. Just wondering who is planning on attending. This will be my fourth year.

I see so many people post up that they would love to come to Moab someday but their truck "isn't ready yet." But if you've got 4WD and a good set of tires (and preferably some sliders), your truck is already Moab-ready! I've done a few of the green trails and they have some of the best scenery. So if lack of mods is the only thing stopping you - it shouldn't!

Here is the web site for the event: GONEMOAB ? Gathering of Nissan Enthusiasts, Moab UT

And here are a few pics from prior years:

Hope to see some new faces out there.

How much is registration? I couldn't find that info anywhere on the goneMOAB website.
Unfortunately they don't release that information until registration opens. Last year it was $130 per person (not per vehicle) for the whole week. I think kids are cheaper, but don't quote me on that.

I'm hoping to come. Is it dog friendly? Does anyone camp between days?

Dogs are allowed on all the trails except the two in Canyonlands (Elephant Hill and Shafer).

There is a campground with nice accommodations in town that a lot of people stay at. There is also dispersed camping in the area. Most people rent condos at Rim Village (and splitting them with other attendees to save money is a common practice).

^Thank you for posting those links, @bhowdy.

I'm registered too. I'm bringing the husband this year. He's never been to Moab so I tried to pick scenic trails. We signed up for:
Mon - Chicken Corners
Tue - Elephant Hill
Wed - Shafer/Lathrop (repeating from last year...this is a pretty trail)
Thu - Gemini Bridges/Bull & Day Canyons
Fri - Cameo Cliffs

We'll be arriving a few days early to squeeze in some hikes and sightseeing before the event starts.

I wish I could make it this year, especially after having to cancel last year. I have a work trip that keeps getting rescheduled and I don't want to register and have to cancel again. Someday maybe I'll make it.
