after much thought (and chrome wheels being "sand blasted" by the elements) I'm going back to my stock wheels, the 20's are a nice on road wheel for just cruising around town, but I'm going back to riding my quad and need to transport my atv to reach the trails, problem is I need some feed back on some all terrain tires (the generals aren't cuttin it). I'll be doin some moderate off roading mostly in sand. I was leaning towards the BF AT's or the Bridgestone duellers revo. Any feedback would be awesome.

beastfrontier,
How wide were your 20's and what brand / style? What size and brand tires did you have on the 20's?
Somebody on another forum has 20" NS Racing chrome wheels with 305/45/R20 Yokohama Geolanders on his '05 Frontier with no fit problem.

Thanks for everyones comments. I ended up with the Bridgestones Revos, good stuff.

ricees:
I was running a conservative 275/45, Goodyears GTI (didn't like the tires) on Kruz (k-21) wheels. got it with a package deal with one of the wheel shops here in Hawaii. this particular shop wanted to do an 05 Frontier and I said why not. Plus they had they had the wheels in stock, while the others I had to wait something like 7-10 BUSINESS days! I ain't got time to wait, causes insomonia in me.

I'll be upgrading to a 275/55 as there is too much of a "gap" between the tires and the fenders.

I try to keep changing things up. My wife thinks I'm Bi-polar or something, because during the "manic" phase I'll go out and buy wheels/tires, be happy, then start being "depressed" because i want to change my set up.
told her that I don't have a Bi=polar diagnosis, but rather "modification" syndrome 8)

Acknowledgement and self awareness is the first step in adressing my problem!
now off to the looney bin!

Here's a grainy pic of my ATV loaded on my frontier.

Aloha ricees,

I was born and raised in Ewa Beach, now living Waipahu (couldn't exactly make the "big leap" to town, you know the "local country boy syndrome") and also is half way between the in-laws and my parents home (equal access tor them to visit m kids).

thanks for everyone's input! iT'S ALOHA FRIDAY, NO WORK TIL MONDAY.... time fo get dirty in the sand.
