Garmin 780/dash kit/I-pod hook up?

hey everyone... got a new garmin 780! ordering the dash kit in a few days... ive read the thread on how to install the dash kit but i have a nismo with the RF package 6 disc changer... What wire do i tap into to get power? and is there a hook up in the back for a i-pod? or can buy an adapter to make one work?

I have the Nismo w. the R 6 disc set up when I bought it as well. U can buy a wire(cost like 10 bucks from Advanced auto) and it connect from the aux plug into the head phone output on your ipod. Once u mount your garmin in the space above the radio have a hole drilled out b4 u mount it. Then you can feed the wire threw, run it down to your fuse box and splice it in. That way whenever the vehicle is on it has constant power. Thats what i had done anyway.
I thought it didn't work w/ the 780.
Ok that makes sense but where do I splice that aux wire in the fuse box? Is there anything that can be pluged into the back of the stock radio that I can run the wire down the dash and out or like you said drill a little hole in the dash kit and out? I will call best buy they might have some options for me...
Ignition wire on the back of the HU Green/black?, that would be the switched wire. or the white/green in the ignition harness under the dash in back of where the key goes in
