Where's the diagram?? One thing I can tell you is that if you do use "generic fuel hose," you need to make sure it's not regular fuel hose but "fuel injection hose" with fuel injection clamps. Fuel pressure is 50 psi and too much for regular fuel hose. It'll probably be 8MM (5/16"). Do you see the part in the attached diagrams I provided?

The line that runs with the fuel line could be a line for the evaporative emissions system's canister purge line. If you live near an Autozone, they'll probably have a fuel line disconnect tool or kit in their tool loaner problem. I own one like pictured below. You need one with a low profile to get the one on the fuel rail.

You can get them for about $7 w/ shipping on Ebay. Advance Auto Parts wanted $23!
