Gas: 1 oz per 5 gallons round down
Diesel: 2 oz per 5 gallons round up

Examples: gas fillup with 17 gallons put in 3 oz of TC-W3 (my normal), diesel fillup with 17 gallons put in 8 oz

 

Slightly off-topic; How do the engines respond to, if at all, to 89 octane?

In previous trucks I'd get 89 once in a while which seem to have helped idle but those were turbo charged ecoboosts.

 

As a measured resistance to detonation, nothing at all unless that tank of 87 had issues. Assumption: that the ethanol or lack of is the same

Good for a 2 cycle engine but not so sure it does a 4 cycle any good. Probably will foul it up.

I use Amsoil PI Cleaner every 4 to 6 k miles. I have used this additive for over 20 years.
Works great.
