Hello, I got a Truck Covers USA cover for sale (see picture and info here: Truck Covers USA Nissan ) it'll fit second gen CC Frontiers/Equators with short bed (59"). Lockable, secure, watertight will not sag or bend even with 2' of snow on it. I really like it but a topper will be more practical for me to carry my tools and ladder. 3 years of use, retails for around $1200.00. Will sell for $550.00 OBO. Includes two keys, installation instructions and user manual. Due to size, I will not ship.Located in Carbondale, CO. Will post pictures In a couple days. Thanks

3 years of use...what condition is it in? Do the locks still function properly? I'm interested if it's in good shape with no dents or scrapes...
Everything is in good working order. Lock always works regardless of temperature, cover retracts with no problem. I lube the lock and retracting mechanism with silicone spray every six months (per manufacturer recommendations). There's no dents or damage. There's only a 1/2" chip that can be easily fixed with paint. The cover is made of aluminum and powder-coated in black. I'll post pictures on Saturday.

Thanks for the pics...can I see a picture of how close it comes to the back window? Also, how large/long is the box that holds the cover...just wondering how much space is left with it all the way retracted...Thanks!

Thanks again for the pics, they are very useful (to me) so I can see how much space it takes up, though it's not much. I usually load my mtb in that space with the forks attaching to the utilitrack where the box is now. I've seen methods of attaching a Yakima rack on top of the cover that would fit my needs perfectly.

I see you had to cut three notches in the side tracks for the clamps. Is there still room for the cleats to fit in there or are they rendered useless now? I think it'd be a faster install for you if we just swapped out rails instead of cutting up another set...

I'll IM you on the rest of the negotiations so other people don't add their useless comments to this post. This is a for sale thread not a "Hey that's cool" thread...:thatswck:

The box doesn't take up that much space, especially if you don't carry a lot of stuff around. But since I use my truck for work once in a while, I have to carry tools and that's where a topper will come handy. I thought about attaching some yakima front fork mounts to the top of the cover so I could load up my bikes, but got a good deal on some mounts for the rack so I went with those instead. The cleats still fit with no problem, but you have to kind of jiggle them to get them in. I agree, It'll be more convenient to swap rails, as I will need uncut rails when I get my topper. Also, you'll have to cut some 1" or 1 1/4" holes for the drain pipes.
