Ok, I see that, but a relatively new owner, I was unaware that Frontiers EVER came with keypads for anything, so I was wondering what in the world I would do with it, or in that respect, what you were using it for hidden in your gas lid?

I used it to lock my keys in my truck so I don't have to carry them around. Also, if you walk out to your truck and don't have keys on you your able to still get in. Nissan discounted the keypad 3-4 years ago. They are rare and hard to find. I hide mine in the gas filler lid so I did not have to stick it on the side of the truck. Plus no one knows its there.

Yes, it's wireless works just like your keyless remote. Expect you program code into it. You enter a 5 digital number and it unlocks the driver door.
