I see the lower control has the button for a trunk. Anyone know if this "button" can be used to do something else once programed? ie remote start?

The lower one in the pic is not going to work on a Frontier or Xterra. The upper 3 are for the Frontier/Xterrra.

I will take one of the 3 button frontier ones! shoot me a pm with payment info!

It is exactly what is pictured. If your asking if it is just the outside of the remote, the answer is, no. It is a complete fully functioning remote.
