ordering the axles this weekend, and probably some reinforcement parts.

Stuff got delayed due to the wonderful coronavirus influence (no, i didnt get it).

I'll be getting labor estimates for everything soon...I'll get the bumper, winch, skids after the truck.

Recently sold some stuff for 1k and figured I'm most likely going to upgrade the front suspension kit to get closer to 17" travel. Currently figuring out which rear wheel/hub adapters (6x4.5 to 6x5.5, BORA brand), wheels (17x8-9), tires, Titan front hubs and brakes to use.

Once I have everything ordered, I'll make the long drive down to Hemet and have Michael install/fab everything. Still looking for the right truck option to show up. Passed on some because red and blue Frontiers are ugly. Hard to be patient, but I think the upgrades will be well worth it.

Per Michael/CJD, no need from Titan master brake cylinder (based on his experience with this mod)
-fine to run Frontier rear brakes with the rear adapters (BORA or Spidertrax)
-Wheels should have 0 offset or a little negative amount

quick list
CJD Titan Long Travel Race Kit $3650...would pay the difference between the LT kit I paid for ($1k difference)

Radflo double bypasses (front, 2): $1200

Adapters: CJD recommended 2.5"-3"
reaching out to BORA for quote on custom pair..unless someone finds a cheap 08+ Titan rear axle
'
BORA custom width: 6*4.5 to 6*5.5 hub adapters
2.5" --$330
3"--$380
$25 shipping

Described my driving goals and was told there is no issue for durability ("you can beat the crap out of our parts")

Mevotech Titan front hubs (2) $140
Powerstop Titan front calipers, pads, and rotors (2) $312

CJD bed cage, powder coated $850ish
CJD prerunner bumper with winch option, powdercoated $950ish

What rear travel numbers are you looking at? I can only get 13". We have a fix which should gain us 3".

I am currently converting to Titan hubs and brakes.
Titan hubs, front and rear.
Not necessary but Titan spindles.
You will need , front dust covers, rear backing plates. Titan calipers and disc.
Titan parking brake.

There are a few serious builds on this site.
It would be interesting to compare builds when it is all said and done.
We have a place in Landers,Ca. where we test.
10 miles.
We also have a short track.
Are you caged? If not, planning to cage?

CJD spring under/underlead kit with bypasses, was told 19"

I'm still asking him a ton of questions to get it set up right. Just started looking into this last week.

not caged, but probably will be down the road.

I figure the first year will be a giant learning experience in driving skill, so nothing too wild. I'd like to learn how to weld within 2-3 years, and welding a cage seems like fun. The only thing that would prevent being caged is getting a truck with even more travel (then thats gets caged). Long term (5-7 years), I'd like to do the VK swap but who knows what happens.

I'm definitely down for that testing area, but it'll be a bit. When the truck gets worked on, I'll be flying back home, then back down 2-3 weeks later.

I guess my dream of a summer truck wont truly happen, but I can't wait to take it out.

Leave caging to the pros. I weld and most of it I did.
When it comes to safety,I left it to my friend /co driver / fabricator.&

I am spring under and am not close to 19" .
I can't see how you could get there unless your springs are going quite a bit negative in your measurement.
My hydro bumps are bottomed out as soon as they go negative.
I am hoping for 15".

just going off Michael/CJD. If it doesn't work, I guess I'll find out. He's been super helpful so far, so I trust him. I'll try to get measurements right after the install.

I noticed on the long travel control arms there are two mounts for shocks.
What shocks are you planning on using?
Nice kit.
