Hi all,

Got involved in an accident, so truck is at the body shop since 2/25. All repairs are done since 4/15 except for seatbelt assemblies and airbag diagnostic unit. The seatbelts came in at the beginning of May, but still no diagnostic unit. I have contacted the parts coordinator at NIssan, but he has not given me the ETA on when it would be available and has not returned my messages since 5/20. So the part has been on order for almost 3 months and no ETA! Anyone else run into this problem, and how did, if ever, you resolve it?

I have been waiting 3 weeks for the body shop to start work on my TItan. Luckily its still drivable or I would be going crazy. They say there still waiting on parts they ordered. I have heard of other Titan owners having the same problem as you. I assume you have an 05 Frontier thats why there are no parts.

Hi m4ck,

No...I have a 2004 Frontier, which I don't understand why they would not have the part in stock. They say that they are in the transition of changing parts supplier. Anyone else get this from Customer Service?

I have a bad headlight switch on my 05 Frontier. Seems the headlights go out when I use my turn signals. Switch has been on order for 3 weeks now. I'm going to be calling my dealer tomorrow and tell them they just need to pull a Frontier off the lot and take the headlight switch out and they can wait forever for the part.

I had that problem, it only happened once in the early morning, hope it doesn't happen again.

It's hard to say why some parts from Nissan are on backorder...Alot of parts are on backorder from them..I am not suprised..I have two cat. converters on back order for two customers of mine..

Backorder on parts

I had to wait almost 3 weeks to get the mud guards in for my "05 Frontier. I have or-
dered chrome door handles for it, one is here and one is on backorder. We'll see
how long it takes to come in.

I ordered an aftermarket bed cover and it took 3 weeks to come in. With a new model
we just have to learn to be patient.

If you wanna email me its [email protected] I can also let you know who has it.. Mossy Nissan is one who stocks a ton of parts.. Nissan Does have a lot of stuff go on backorder. The switches for the 05 frontier and 05 xterra are the same and we had some on backorder for a couple of months. but from what i can tell they are readily available.....Call if you dont wanna email 864-254-7711.. I dont wanna step on any sponsors toes... just wanna offer a service. Anybody need any help i am here.. m4ck.. your rotors are waiting on you.
