Frontier Exhaust Systems

From reading all the new Frontier forums, I've learned that there are only 2 companies thus far that have an exhasut system already out in the market, and 1 more with one in production.

We have all heard about the Banks exhaust being a good system, but many saying they lose a lot of low-end power. But, I haven't heard any complaints about the Gibson exhaust system, whose website specifically states: "Our best performing exhaust system produces maximum torque and horsepower gains at low-end (1800 to 3000 RPMS ) with a deep aggressive tone."

Is there anyone on here that has this exhaust and has similar problems to the Banks? I know there is a user reverendbiker who loves this exhaust, but I know of no one else who owns this.

I also have the Gibson cat installed on my truck. No problem with the sound inside the cab. I had the same on my 2001 SEDR truck. One thing on the 2001 was I had a Arraid intake installed but sold it because of the loss of low end power. It ran great with the stock intake with a K&N drop in filter. So I'll do the same with my 05 Nismo.
Oh Ya the Gibson is on. It's been on for a month or so. Like the sound inside and out. The only problem some of us have had was the Y pipe not fitting just right on to the cats. I cut the tail pipe back a little at the end so it wouldn't show inside the S/S tip. The Y pipe and tail pipe are 3" also. Seems to make the truck run just fine. The low end power is good. I need that here in mountains of NC. A little more growl and plenty of zip. Going on a 600 mile trip on thurs and I see what the MPG will be and get back with ya.
Hey Philly I went to Gibson's site and you have the right number.
