Why does Honda even try??? The guys at the dealerships are telling me the Titan isn't selling so hot right yet because they still aren't offering any dealership incentives. Hopefully with more options and some incentives to match competitors down the road, that line will be rejuvenated.
The new Tacoma looks stupid compared to the previous one. I can see them take a hit in sales just due to the aesthetics of the new body style with it's gargantuan nose. That and the fact that it's now so large it is no longer a mid size but is considered a full size truck.
I knew the Frontiers seemed to be an also-ran group as far as sales go, but since I got my new one 2 months back, I just seem to notice them EVERYWHERE around here where I live. A lot of the contractors and folks I work around daily said they'd love to get rid of what they have now and get a fronty like mine.
Not everyone wants something the size of a semi truck. Everyone calls it long in the tooth, but for my part, I took that as a positive. After 10 years on the market, people pretty much KNOW what parts will go bad and how to fix them by this point. If I hear a weird noise or a symptom in the car, someone has been through that before and I can come on these forums and find out pretty easily whats up. Knowledge and reliability go a long way for me vs having the newest design and flashiest bling on the road for this current model year.
