Hi, just put new Polk's in my front doors.Just wondering if I wired them correctly?Can someone tell me which colors are neg. & which are positive?Thanks,Rod.

IDR.. been a while since I did mine.. You can use a voltage meter to find +/-.

I just installed my front and rear polks and the funny thing is that when I used my circuit tester, both wires came up positive (on all four speakers)! I also tried connecting them both ways and I couldnt tell the difference in the sound, both sounded fine. This happpened on both the front and rear speakers.

^voltage meter even a Batt. tester will do -/+.. if it's reversed it'll show "-X.X volts" or the needle goes backwards.

ok, I called Crutchfield and here is the info they sent me:

10 AMP FUSE
"AUDIO"
PASSENGER SIDE DASH PANEL

20 AMP FUSE
"RADIO"
PASSENGER SIDE UNDER HOOD


The dash tweeters are wired in parallel with the front door woofers.

At the Harness:
Left Front Spkr + BN

Left Front Spkr - BU

Right Front Spkr + L.GN

Right Front Spkr - 9 RD

Left Rear Spkr + GN

Left Rear Spkr - BK

Right Rear Spkr + GY

Right Rear Spkr - OG


At the Speaker:
Left Front At Speaker + BU/WT

Left Front At Speaker - BU/RD

Right Front At Speaker + WT/BK

Right Front At Speaker - BU/BK

Left Rear At Speaker + BU

Left Rear At Speaker - OG

Right Rear At Speaker + BU

Right Rear At Speaker - OG
