Well a PT Cruiser picked a fight with fronty. I drove away while he went away on a meat hook never to fight another day. I was considerred at fault since I was coming off a side street. His headlights were not on!
Anyway it goes into body shop on Sun and they'll start on it Mon.
Since 1 running board got ripped off they will both be replaced. Body shop asked if I wanted tube steps and I thought black boards. Now I'm thinking black tubes steps!

I am happy that your Fronty protected you well and that you are safe. ::smile:: Did your airbags deploy? (the image of your Fronty is too blurry) Also was anybody else in the truck with you?

Curious how it could be your fault if other driver had no lights on? Twilight perhaps?

Just glad everyone's ok.

Sorry for the bad pic, it was 2 am on my way to work.
My bags did not deploy and I was only one in the truck.

He had right of way.
Wi state law requires some e be ticketed at fault.

Skip the flimsy steps and upgrade to a set of rock sliders. Pay the few $$ more for the DOM tubing and to have them powder coated. Quick delivery and excellent customer service.

White Knuckle Off Road Nissan Frontier Rock Sliders
I don't offroad so I don't need sliders and my wife likes to use the steps to get in/out of the truck.
If it were my call, I would have taken the running boards off when I bought the truck.

Glad your ok.
Hopefully no frame damage and the repairs go well.

Despite the ticket, I would find a way to push the fact that the other driver did not have lights on at 2am, I know in AZ that is not legal. It may help in the insurance claims.

Pretty significant impact there for sure. Good to hear you are ok. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with the repairs.

Damn - that sucks. Glad you are ok - wifey works in insurance and can ask her about it. You'll probably need proof their lights were not on though; surprised you weren't injured smacking your head against the driver's window.

I'm still diggin' my NFab bars (pretty much on every new Taco now).

Didn't hit my head on anything. I also wear my seat belt. Plus getting hit on passenger side would want to through my body toward the pass side.
