I was 20 when i got my first brand new vehicle...a 2007 nissan frontier xe....i had just gotten a promotion at work at the time and wanted to reward myself for actually doing something positive in my life...for those of you who have met me, you know i'm not a normal person....i live life..extreme....lol...i dont have pics of my truck when i first got it but i'm sure everyones seen a stock xe...lol....i remember the first mod i did was exhaust and a drop in k&n filter...pretty exciting...lol....i had big aspirations for my truck just like everyone else....the day i installed my leveling kit and some 32's was an exciting day.....
one of the earliest pics i have of the truck....later came the titan swap....and then the radflos's....it was very slowly but surely coming together...living on my own, having a gf at the time didnt leave much more room for focusing on the truck but no compaints....and then last summer was when i blew the first motor....(long sigh)...whatever..it got taken care of..lol.....didnt stop me from pushing the truck....
and who can forget the crazy lil mods i did like cutting a hole a in my hood for the ram air intake i had...painting the eyelids on the truck to make it look angry....putting fiberglass fenders because i tore mine up from nose diving and loosing a wheel offroading....
i finally got the point where i was really happy with the hastened pace of my truck...i got the cst spindles, prg shackles, and 35" tires...my truck was finally looking like the creature it is and then.....another motor.....pretty much a year to date from the last motor....i was planning on doing the mid travel kit and hoops finally but what became a stressful situation of trying to find a motor that wasnt in bad shape became a nightmare and i finally buckled down and decided to skip towards the end of my mod list and do a motor swap.....i had dreamed of throwing a v8 in the truck even before i owned it officially....i always strive to be different from everyone else...and i think ive done a damn good job of it thus far....i went for a practical, easy to build, and inexpensive way to start motor swap...thus a brand new 350 block and turbo 400 trans....
my truck is now one of a kind...a classic domestic motor with import styling and function....whats hiding under the hood now matches the personality of the driver and the truck itself.....ive also given myself a few additions which someday will be applied to the truck as well...a series of 6's as playing cards...
a snake that wraps around my arm from wrist to shoulder
and finally a dragon that will start at my ankle and end up at my stomach...
this is my truck...this is me....we are one in the same....
