Dealer confirmed that they were supposed to pull the device prior to me driving away. They cost a couple bills a piece. They are sending me an envelope to drop it in so they can get it back. He said it was for possible thieves. I said if a person is smart enough to steal a car, they probably know to check for trackers.
They let you test ride alone so it is probably for that.
You assert that thieves are smart, yet evidence proves that to be contrary, lol. If thieves can't barely be bothered to know how to steal a vehicle with a standard transmission now days then i doubt they'll think first to check for data loggers/trackers.
You guys sound like a bunch of Bernie voters LOL. "You should totally give me something for free for returning the property you accidentally left in the car". Dang millennials always want something for nothing.
I'm in the basket of deplorables lol. I just meant for him to be like "Hey, since I'm saving you from having to replace this $200 tracking device, could you throw a loyal customer a bone?", not "Hey I'll give this back if you give me something of greater value"
