Not to be rude, but google is your friend. It is a tracking device: Novatel Wireless - MT 3060

Did you buy the truck used? If so, I bet it was used as a fleet vehicle or as a rental.

If not....someone is keeping an eye on you...wife, girlfriend/boyfriend, police, DEA, etc.

Another scenario is if you did buy it used, sometimes insurance companies will send these to their customers to monitor driving habits and base their rates on the data collected.

Bought new. Tried Google but didn't find one that looked like it. Thanks.

It is not like it was hidden. The dealer does let you go alone on test rides. I will contact them tomorrow and ask.

Possibly, but I think YOU rigged the election with it...lol

It is a tracker probably, just leave it unplug and put it in the shed or something without it being plugged in no one can track you

Dealer confirmed that they were supposed to pull the device prior to me driving away. They cost a couple bills a piece. They are sending me an envelope to drop it in so they can get it back. He said it was for possible thieves. I said if a person is smart enough to steal a car, they probably know to check for trackers.

They let you test ride alone so it is probably for that.

makes sense, tell them you deserve an oil change...
That would be nice. Too bad they are 1000 miles away. I swapped trucks while on a work trip.

You assert that thieves are smart, yet evidence proves that to be contrary, lol. If thieves can't barely be bothered to know how to steal a vehicle with a standard transmission now days then i doubt they'll think first to check for data loggers/trackers.

You guys sound like a bunch of Bernie voters LOL. "You should totally give me something for free for returning the property you accidentally left in the car". Dang millennials always want something for nothing.
