Forward collision warning

Recently purchased a 2023 Pro-4X
Last few mornings have been dark, misty rain and somewhat foggy.

For about 3-4 minutes after I start driving the forward collision warning light flashes. Then turns off.

Is this a normal function or something I should be concerned about.

Only happens in the morning, drive home in afternoon shows no flashing.

I think I know the answer but figured I’d ask.

its common on foggy, misty, or rain. it has happened on my 2022 also.

Or snow or if the sun is shining or if there is a slight easterly breeze

Very interesting thanks for sharing this. Having no manual I'm surprised it is all based through the windshield.
My other vehicle which is slightly older has it mounted in the grill (just a flat box) and unless completely covered in snow has never flashed.

It's been foggy on my morning drive the past couple of days, and the light has come on, so I think it's "normal".
