I just can't get these damn things off and I am losing my mind. I have cleaned them multiple times with brake cleaner and PB blaster followed up by a rigorous shimmying and shaking with an adjustable channel lock wrench.

They will not budge.

I know they make special tools for this but they don't look like they would give me any more leverage or grip than the channel locks do. Is there something wrong with my technique?

Use a flat head screwdriver on the very edge of it(between the dust cup and hub surface) and tap it with a hammer to force it inbetween the two.Do it in a couple of spots and it will come loose
