Hi Guys,

I no longer have the Navara and have a full set of wheels and tyres to sell. I used to run 2 sets, one for day to day driving and one for touring/off-roading.

I have a set of 4 Factory Alloys and 1 Dynamic Wheels steel wheel. These are all fitted with Mickey Thomson - Dick Cepeck FCII tyres 265/75/16. These are awesome tyres for touring, they are a very robust tyre. I have recently just replaced a couple of the tyres and one is brand new and has never been on the vehicle.
The condition of the tyres are (from left -to right in the photo)
1 - Tread Depth 13.5mm (88% tread)
2 - Tread Depth 11.7mm (76% tread)
3 - Tread Depth 12.5mm (81% tread)
4 - Tread Depth 15.3mm (100% tread)
Spare - Tread Depth 12.2mm (80% tread)

Tyre 1 has small bit of damage to one of the side lugs where I ran over something on the road. I took it to a tyre specialist and he said its Ok.

These have been used off road so the rims have a few marks here and there.
They are all balanced and have been a pleasure to drive with on the vehicle. The tyres are LT construction and stop a lot of the tyre side wall roll you get with many other tyres.

To fit these tyres I believe your Navara will need to have a 40-50mm lift fitted.

Fitting 267/75/16 tyres brings the speedo accuracy back to where it should really be, near spot on.

I have to ask...I was told at a shop yesterday that the DC FCIIs are pretty loud. Also the "DCs" on the side walls can cause it to handle funky in the sand...any truth? I like the looks of this tire.

LOL - I wouldn't buy a Toyota they are over priced....

However I did consider it, but not a HIpricedLUX. I jumped out of the dual cab market with the 2 vehicles under consideration being a Patrol or a 76 series wagon, but I couldn't substantiate spending an extra $30,000+ to buy a cruiser that is just an upmarketed workhorse. $30K is a heck of a lot of mods and accessories :crikey:

I did not find them overly noisey, I've heard a lot worse go past me. These are the first tyres I have ever had that were not a highway terrain. However, associates of mine who have owned a number of 4WDs with a varying range of tyres fitted from A/Ts to agressive M/Ts who travelled in my Nav commented that the tyres weren't very noisey and that the ride was good. The FCIIs fared well in a recent test done by one of the 4WD magazines over here.

I never had the chance to hit the sand, but I would suspect any tyre with sidebiters etc would behave the same
