Any one out there looking for an automatic 4 cylinder truck? I am buying a 2010 SE Frontier and thought I'd offer it up for sale before I trade it in. PM me if interested and I can send pictures and details. Thanks

So what do you guys think of my price? I swung by the dealer to see what they would offer and it was funny. I gues since they can't screw me on the new one they wanted to score big on the trade in. Well that's not gonna happen.

It looks like a nice clean truck. $5,500 on this truck with a 140,000 miles is too much. Price it to sell....

Yeah, I didn't know what to ask on price. Here's where I got my numbers to come up with a best guess:
NADA: rough trade-in: $4,150, average trade-in: $5,050, clean trade-in: $5,775, clean retail: $8,225
Edmunds: trade-in: $4,795, private party: $5,747, dealer retail: $6,711
KBB: trade-in: $4,100, private party: $6,250, suggested retail: $8,225

I then did a search on Autotrader.com to see what others were asking for their trucks with 100,000 plus miles:

I thought I was in the ballpark in price but maybe not. The dealer offered me $2,500. I'd let it sit in the driveway for that.

honestly man, i think your truck is probably worth around $3,500. you can get a crew cab v6 for about $6-7k.
dealer is probably going to really lowball you on your trade in for that, i would think they would offer you around $2,500.

kbb is completely inaccurate. i probably couldn't sell my truck for what i bought it for ($11.5k) it sucks.

Raffro, it's cool. I ended up trading the truck for a 2009 crew cab Frontier SE vs. a new one. This one is like new, only 6000 miles, and the dealer I got it from (which is where I got the 2003) gave me a great deal on it. So it's all good.

Here's my new truck:

Not too big on black wheels or the black pinstripe. I'd rather have stock wheels or some silver aftermarket wheels. Think I'd have any luck selling the wheels and tires?

You could probably find someone in your area to trade you for their stock wheels, maybe with money on their side.

gerch85, the are 16" same as what came on them stock. The tires are 265/70-r16. They do look small to me too, but I think that's because of the color.

Frijolero, I'd be OK with that. Guess I'd better get me an add up on craigslist.
