Hey y’all ,

I didn’t want to add a full steel bumper right now , or even want a bull bar , so putting extra lighting out front is out of the question.

I just recently fabbed up some ditch light brackets that mount to hood hinge. ( 4mm thick aluminum and then powdercoated )
My question is , what do you guys prefer for LED 3 inch pods ? Flood or spot ?
I do a little of camping off grid , no major off-roading , and drive mostly rural roads early morning to work ..
I will be going with Aurora 3 inch pods

Thanks!

I prefer flood lights. IMO, spot beams are suitable for high-speed nighttime off roading, or if you drive on flat, straight roads at night.

Flood.
I've got side shooter style and really like the amount of light i get off the sides. I never use them at speed.
I've got side-shooters as well, and we use them sometimes on less-traveled roads here in MD and fairly often in ME where the joining highways between towns can be 20 to 30 minutes before you see another structure besides maybe someone's random house. Interesting what's lurking out there in the meadows between all the forested areas.
