I was going to do it(easy enough job), but i cant find a single one that spins the correct direction. I had one on my K5 and it worked great.

the Flex-a-Lite site has listing for clockwise and counter clockwise.
I figure if the rotating mass is lighter, we would get a little better response if not a horse or 2.
the electric fans are nice but load the alternator and electric system.

I think there are 1-2 members with the flex.

Others have opted to run a set-up using duals (like me, sleepy23 and a few more). Flex it nice but expensive and you can buy your fans and controller on ebay with bing cash back and it works out to be a bit cheaper, like half of flex or less.

Even as an avionics technician that taught soldering/wiring repair and component level troubleshooting I don't like hacking into functional systems. I want to do the e-locker mod and dread it.
I prefer the bolt on action.

The Efan isn't hacking into anything. You simply remove the standard mech fan but leave the pulley in place. Just make sure you have a few washers to make up the thickness of the mech fan mounting plate so you can re-install the nuts.

Then you have to mount the controller, probably on the drivers side radiator support. Then you have to mount the 2 fans (pullers of course) on the drivers side and run some power to the controller and to the fans. The push-thru zip tie style ties work but you have to make sure you know where you are placing them since the support is kinda close around the edges. I also had to add an additional upper mount but it all works.

One of my next mods is going to add the lower panel that the 4wd trucks have with some switches and probably a trans temp gauge so I can set-up the fans to run off the controller or to completely bypass it and run it on demand.
