Fixing wise? I'm at 220k and the only thing that it really NEEDED was a low intake manifold gasket, a clutch, a distributer, brakes, steering stops, blower motor resistor, a lightbulb or two, lower radiator hose, sway bar bushings and a coolant flush (plus oil and filter changes)

But I've done a lot more stuff that wasn't needed

Yeah, my truck weighs a ton.
Need to get it done by April for NORRA.
Would have been done a long time ago but have not been able to work on the truck due to illness.

Need to install a 4-cyl diesel and 8-speed ZF auto ;-)

Seriously, I need to do a transmission drain and refill and I'd like to replace my oil pan. Rusted to the point I worry about it.

sounds mint! and i live in new england and my pan has some rust on it and had a leak smaller than a pin hole i put a bunch of jbweld cold weld on it painted with high heat paint and has been good ever since even though its been a couple months lol. but i would go on ebay man. if you can strike a deal with a pan 50 to 120 coming from a place with no salt and minimum rust you'll be good. i might get one in future.

I plan to replace the alternator belt on the '98 next year, is tight and still squeals a few seconds on start-up, and I'm near the end of the adjustment. It's also 10 years old, might try a 7350 belt instead of the 7355 belt. Belt squealing is not uncommon on these trucks.

I also should get new tires for the '98 next year.

Nothing else planned for my 2 Frontiers.

Try a Bando # 2355, which is 35.75" (908MM) long. The Gates # 7355 is 36.18" (919MM) long. I always use Bando as they've been an OEM supplier of belts to Nissan for many years and always fit exactly the same as the original belts. Gates and Dayco always seem to run a little longer. You can get the Bando 2355 at Rockauto for $3.01+shipping.

Need to replace an O2 sensor .... do the regular fluid changes before winter. I'm weird and change all my fluids twice a year - before summer and before winter. But I wheel my truck regularly and like to take care of it.

Our off-road club participated in a local "Cars and Coffee" event. I cleaned the Nismo up and she got so many looks ... and the question again and again ... That's a Nissan? ::grin::

I took really good care of my '00 XE...though I wish I would've replaced the original rear leaf springs. They were def sagging when I sold it w/ 185k.

1998 2WD here. Changed out valve cover gasket today and tightened exhaust manifold. Bought spark plugs to replace this weekend. Yesterday I reinforced the rear bumper supports with some welded gussets (I have 3" body lift so bumper was relocated) I have 245,000 miles or so racked up. I need new rear shocks and need to change out cam chain guides soon. Also need to have AC overhauled. Could use the headliner replaced. I plan on doing all of this by the new year.
