My dash (right side) squeaks and creaks to the point where it's driving me nuts.

If I push on the leftmost edge of that black trim insert that is just above the glovebox, it stops.

So I think I need to remove the glovebox and see what I can do about getting some foam or other noiseproofing materials between the plastic pieces behind the dash.

Has anyone had success quieting dash rattling this way, and any tips?

I have not had a squeaking dash yet, but here is what I use for truck squeaks:
WD40 White Lithium Grease
WD-40 SPECIALIST 10 oz. White Lithium Grease-300240 - The Home Depot

Maybe a spray shot of this would be an quick easy first attempt ?

Get a 10mm Ratchet at tighten down all the anchor bolts for the Dash. theres one at the bottom and one at the top under a cover by the defrost vents. Hopefully its just as simple as tightening a couple of nuts/bolts
